I have been looking for something like this for some time. But I cannt find any documentation - am I missing something? Or perhaps there are other examples of xml driven forms with auto validation?

hmmm! you are unfortunately right: the current documentation is "within" the provided examples. Ie, the example *.xml files are examples of what you should build. The other provided files are those you'll use without change (unless you try to improve what they try to do ... and it is quite perfectible!)

I am currently working on a documentation and on an interactive form definition process which will limit the documentation to (1) installation (2) a simple set of screen dumps with simple comments

Thanks - look forward to it.

The other thing I am looking to see some day is a script that will read a table definition from the database and create XML to define the update form. All the attributes should be there - name, length, type, manditory, etc There should be a way to also have pulldown lists for foreign keys.

Anyway, getting carried away, so I will just say thanks again.

someday sooner than what you seem to believe: this is already being done but not yet fully operational ....
