I'm using this class in order to write new wikimedia extension. I'm using several epub reader (SW and HW) but the files I recives from the class is corrupted and I can't read it in any reader.
Finally, I noticed that changing the file extension to zip, extract it using winrar and re-compress it using winrar - solves the problem and I can read the file both in Firefox "EPUBReader" add-on and my physical ereader.
So I guess the problem is in the Zip class or the way ebup using it.

I'm not seeing this problem, which PHP version are you using?
I just tested the EPub.Example1.php by downloading the EPub and the dependency Zip package from the site and uploaded them to a new folder at a site running PHP 5.1.6, and the generated example book opens fine.
Can I get you to send me a book that fails?

I replied directly to you, I hope you got the messages.
I've uploaded a new EPub that solves the issue in EPub, the Zip class is not affected.
I've prepared but not yet uploaded a new EPub that will print a message if ob_start is used, and the buffer contains data.
